copperdot and Saykal: jointly driving success for automotive electronics

Before cooperating with Bosch, Saykal worked with different other suppliers. However, the team needed a reliable partner that could offer high quality, competitive prices, and on-time delivery. For Saykal’s automotive electronic products, their PCB manufacturer needed to meet all of the industry’s high international standards.

“copperdot was the right fit since we were seeking cost-efficient yet high-quality PCBs that get delivered at the required time of the project phase. Since the beginning of the project, the communication between Saykal and Bosch has been smooth and on eye level. As Anil Sirma recalls: “We experience Bosch’s team as highly responsive and they understood our challenges. We also valued their transparency and the exchange with the technical experts provided helpful advice for PCB design and production.” He adds that “they quickly understood our requirements which was why they immediately came up with ideas for improvements that resulted in an additional value-add for our project.”

Together with a different supplier, Saykal tried to establish a more efficient system for their printed circuit board traceability. The goal was to achieve traceable boards by implementing some updates to the PCB in alignment with the PCB supplier. However, other suppliers could not provide the necessary support for these requested updates. When Bosch and Saykal again worked on this, they quickly established a process. “For our serial production, Bosch supported us to establish a transparent system for the traceability of PCBs”, Akif Gümüs, Sales and Business Development Engineer at Saykal, highlights and adds “now we have a smooth process for this.”

Finding a reliable supplier that meets PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requirements in the automotive industry isn’t always easy. Working with such a partner was one of Saykal’s priorities. With Bosch's experience, our experts supported Saykal throughout the PPAP process.
